Kyrenia
Kyrenia is a fantastic place to visit and explore. There are plenty of shops and markets to wander around in and when you're done you can relax in one of the local cafes along the waterfront.
The tiny harbour in Kyrenia is full of yachts' and fishing boats and close to Crusader Castle. Behind is the Besparmak Mountain Range which makes it a very scenic town. When the sun sets over the harbour it becomes a hive of activity as the locals walk along the beautiful promenade and stop at the many bistros and cafes along the way.
There is a larger harbour just outside the town centre which accommodates larger boats and ferries from the Turkish mainland. The castle at the end of the old harbour has a twelfth century chapel within its walls.
